Onium Masses with Three Flavors of Dynamical Quarks

چکیده

We have greatly extended an earlier calculation of the charmonium spectrum on three flavor dy-namical quark ensembles by using more recent ensembles generated by the MILC collaboration. The heavy quarks are treated using the Fermilab formulation. The charmonium state masses are in reasonable agreement with the observed spectrum; however, some of the spin splittings may still be too small. c Copyright owned by the author(s) under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Licence.

Dynamical quark effects on light quark masses

Light quark masses are calculated in lattice QCD with two degenerate flavors of dynamical quarks. The calculations are made with improved actions with lattice spacing a = 0.22-0.11 fm. Hybrid Monte Carlo algorithm for lattice QCD with two flavors of dynamical Ginsparg-Wilson quarks

We study aspects concerning numerical simulations of Lattice QCD with two flavors of dynamical Ginsparg-Wilson quarks with degenerate masses. A Hybrid Monte Carlo algorithm is described and the formula for the fermionic force is derived for two specific implementations. The implementation with optimal rational approximation method is favored both in CPU time and memory consumption.
